Always improving.
My Father introduced me to golf in 1987 and I was hooked from the start! In 1991 I won the St. George's Golf & Country Club Junior Club Championship which led to a NCAA scholarship at Troy State University.
After College I instructed at the Nelson/Seagraves Academy in Acworth, Georgia, then went on to Creekside Golf & Country Club. Soon after I began competing professionally on various tours in North America but unfortunately a wrist injury forced my retirement from competitive golf in 2003.
I have represented the Acushnet Golf Company as a Titleist Certified club fitter at the Titleist fitting centre, and am a certified fitter for Scotty Cameron putters.
For three summers I was the lead golf instructor for the golf programs at Appleby College in Oakville. Introducing the game to hundreds of young students was an experience I truly enjoyed.
Always innovating.
My golf journey has included time spent with legends of the game, World Golf Hall of Fame members, Major Championship winners, and PGA Tour winners I have studied the swing philosophies of Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Moe Norman and George Knudson. This has allowed me to take my golf instruction to another level.
Always inspiring.
Whether your goal is to just improve your game and be more consistent or to win your club championship, I cannot wait to help you better understand the technical fundamentals of the golf swing as well as the delicate balance of the mind on your journey towards your full golfing potential.
That is our mission.
